Live Cinema DVD1

WORM (Rotterdam) has been a strident promoter of Live-cinema. Besides organising performances, tours and showcasing Live Cinema at festivals, WORM commissioned new works from artists it considered to represent an optimum agility of expression and expertise within their chosen practice. The results of three such studio explorations from 2004-2005 are presented on this DVD: OPTICAL MACHINES (NL), WOOING DISRUPTION (I, CHL) and ROTOR (B). Close collaborators Jasch (CH) and Martijn van Boven (NL) complete the DVD‘s compendium of performances become stand-alone films. Complementing the four films, the DVD also contains extended interviews and background info around the featured artists.
